🌟⭐ Celebrating Our September STARs! ⭐🌟
We had a great time celebrating our South Walnut STARs for the month of September yesterday!
Students enjoyed our first Student of the Month celebration, which included fruit bars, bingo, and certificates for those recognized as Students of the Month.
We also held our first school-wide, PBIS/STAR Party of the year, where students enjoyed games, crafts, bounce houses, and extra recess.
Thank you to all of our students for showing STAR behaviors throughout the month of September, and to our teachers and staff for putting together fun activities to celebrate their efforts. We’re looking forward to another great month at South Walnut!

Our school fundraiser begins next week! Packets will be coming home with students on Friday, 9/11.

South Walnut families, please read this important information regarding morning car drop off procedures for the upcoming school year: South Walnut Car Loop Update South Walnut’s car loop will continue to the area by the gym. Students will enter the building through the doors located next to the gym. 🚫 Do not use the back loop – this area is for buses only. ✅ Car Loop Directions: Cars will enter on the right side at the far south end of S. Walnut Street. Follow the route, snaking around the lot, and pull all the way to the end of the sidewalk. Students should exit on the passenger side of the vehicle. Students are to stay in their vehicle until staff helps them out. If your child needs assistance or you must get out of your car, please park in a designated parking space rather than using the car loop. 👷 Staff will work quickly to help students in and out of vehicles to keep the line moving. 🚦 When exiting the loop, you must turn right only to exit onto S. Walnut Street toward CR 681. There is a sign indicating no left turns. 📍 Here is a map for your reference:
